Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer of coatings to a second source machine

• Stabilization of coating machines through close monitoring and control of process and machine parameters (e.g. dispersion data)

• Stabilization and optimization of coating materials to ensure consistent quality and process reliability

Your Profile:

• Degree in engineering or natural sciences with relevant professional experience

• Extensive knowledge of vacuum and coating technology as well as optical measurement technology

• Strong understanding of complex technical processes and interrelationships

• Experience in Six Sigma project work

• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset

• Very good written and spoken English skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
